How do I know if my child needs speech therapy?

What can I expect during the first visit?

The first session typically includes a comprehensive evaluation where I assess speech, language, and cognitive-communication abilities, then we create a treatment plan, and afterward you get a report from me.

If you waive the initial evaluation fee then we jump right into treatment based on your concerns and my observations.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

No. Since I accept private pay all you have to do is schedule an appointment and complete my intake paperwork.

How long are therapy sessions?

I offer 60-minute, 45-minute, and 30-minute sessions. You decide how long and how often, but clients benefit most from weekly sessions.

Where does therapy take place?

I see clients in their homes or meet them at various community settings (e.g., libraries, parks, museums).

Do you offer weekend sessions?

Yes, I offer weekend and evening sessions.

How long will it take to see results?

I accept payment via cash, credit card, or check at the time of the session.

What are the benefits of private-pay speech therapy?
